The Challenge

Chester Zoo was set to launch The Reserve, a first-of-its-kind safari lodge experience designed to immerse guests in nature. To generate excitement and secure early bookings, the zoo needed highly realistic CGI visuals that would allow potential visitors to envision the experience before construction was complete.

The challenge? Capturing the atmosphere and authenticity of The Reserve in a way that would resonate with potential guests and support a high-profile media launch. All within a tight deadline.

Our Approach

  • We worked closely with Chester Zoo’s team to ensure every CGI render accurately reflected the architectural plans, interiors, and surrounding wildlife.
  • Our team used advanced CGI techniques to create lifelike renders showcasing the lodges’ seamless integration with nature and their luxury-meets-adventure aesthetic.
  • With limited time to deliver, our team streamlined production while ensuring high-quality visuals that met the standards of a globally recognised brand.

The Results

  • The CGI images became the centrepiece of the launch campaign, offering an immersive preview of The Reserve that helped drive bookings from day one.
  • The campaign secured features in major publications, including; Time Out, Daily Express and Luxury Hospitality Magazine.
  • The response far exceeded expectations, with over 550 bookings in under a week. Some 2025 dates sold out almost immediately, and demand to view the lodges was so high it briefly crashed Chester Zoo’s website.
